Willspeed GP ✅Had a great day at 1066 Racing, a steep learning curve with my first portrait carpet layout. Great to see alot of familiar faces across the pits, whilst resisting the urge to fanboy over Popalong RC!
Overall, I loved the overall vibe of the place, and it seemed much more casual than some of the other events, I loved it for that! Couldn’t have done it without Clive Rose, Stuart Joyce, Neil Parrott, bringing a welcoming atmosphere into the pits! It felt nice to run the B6.4D for the third time, still getting used to it. Though I wasn’t the only one experimenting with new machinery, as I saw many B7’s running all over the place. I feel as though I made great progress today, almost branching out of the bottom final. I showed some nice development on the trigger finger as well as overall consistency, only binning Q3 with a 30 second final lap 🤦♂️ Despite not finding any form of overall result today, I still feel like there is alot that I can take away from it, and a huge thanks to all of the wonderful people running the event today, they did a brilliant job, and by far the best beginner freindly RC event that I have done for a long time. |
Second win at coastal!![]() Well,
I did it, a second victory in the bag. showed dominance all evening, winning all 3 rounds of qualifying and, eventually, the race. the best driver's etiquette I had seen all year so that was nice to see! overall, I had great fun, let's see what regionals have to bring! |
First regional, done and dusted!Wow, first regional done!
And done in the trickiest way possible - rain, rain and more rain! As a junior, it means a lot! PS: couldn’t have done it without the team behind me: Neil (dad), Andy, Stuartand David (granddad) |
