The never before seen weight forward, reverse bell crank design turned heads as it was winning at the highest levels of competition on wide-ranging track surfaces. Its first major title came when Tyler Hooks piloted it to a first-place finish at the 2018 ROAR nationals in the stock 4wd 1/10th class. A few months later, Jared Tebo claimed his first victory at the prestigious 2019 Reedy Race of Champions. Even though it has been extremely successful in the hands of our team drivers and customers, our design engineers weren’t content and knew it could be improved.

Tekno RC is pleased to announce the next evolution in 1/10th scale 4wd buggy is here, the EB410.2. We’ve set the bar in terms of build quality and easy to follow instructions, so expect the same here. Not only have many of the updated components from the ET410 been incorporated, but several all-new elements have been included to further improve handling and durability.

Now included is a front end sway bar system along with new 15-degree low roll center spindle carriers. The suspension has been upgraded with new pistons and revised shock towers. In the rear, we have included new arms that allow front-mounted shocks, new adjustable roll center rear hubs, and a new, taller one-piece wing mount to help improve aerodynamics and roll characteristics. Durability has also been improved with a new spur gear, a front bulkhead brace, heavy-duty ABCD hinge pin braces, and larger 3.5mm inner hinge pins.

We think you will agree, the EB410.2 represents a new level of performance, durability, and value to help you step higher on the podium.
"url2":null
sv":
"https://houseofrc.com/setups?user_id=2694&product_id=65&userproduct_id=2381", "https://houseofrc.com/users?product_id=65")){kind=link}

A primary goal of this project was to minimise the additional parts needed to help keep drivers on the track or bashing at their favourite spot. You will find that quite a few of the parts you already have will work on the ET48 2.0. Features from the 2.0 buggies have been carried over, such as the industry-first suspension arms with built-in caster. This allows a longer overall arm length, ideal front-end geometry and increased durability. It has rear hubs that provide roll center adjustments by adjusting the axle height, and the active rear toe system has been carried over as well. A substantial amount of time was invested in developing the smoothest suspension package available to make the truck a breeze to drive in the roughest conditions. The quick access differentials with increased volume have also been included to improve consistency and efficiency with minimal maintenance time.

The ET48 2.0 body has an industry-first exposed front shock tower design as well as a more truck-like appearance. The body is lighter, creates more downforce for increased steering response, flies through the air with greater ease and closer resembles a full size vehicle. Finally, during testing, the body was found to last longer than “standard” truggy bodies.
"url2":null
sv":
"https://houseofrc.com/setups?user_id=2694&product_id=657&userproduct_id=2380", "https://houseofrc.com/users?product_id=657")){kind=link}

We incorporated many of the new features introduced on the NB48 2.0 such as ultra-narrow pivots, long A-arm suspension geometry, super smooth high volume diffs, optimal chassis flex, and easy access diffs. But we didn’t stop there. A new 4mm chassis plate with decoupled components as well as an updated motor mount were developed to produce a slightly wider, weight forward layout that has made for an incredibly well balanced and durable buggy.

Results from on-track testing have been great with Joe Bornhorst and Jared Tebo on the top of the podium at almost every race they’ve attended. Expect the same amazing rough track handling and corner speed you’ve come to expect from the NB48 2.0 thanks to the long arms, narrow bulkheads and optimized front end. You’ll also be happy to know the EB48 2.0 shares many of the same parts as the NB48 2.0, reducing the number of spares to keep on hand.

We want to say a huge thank you to our customers, and team drivers around the world for making the NB48 2.0 such a success, and we are excited to continue that success with the next evolution in the electric 1/8th scale class – the Tekno RC EB48 2.0.
"url2":null
sv":
"https://houseofrc.com/setups?user_id=2694&product_id=64&userproduct_id=2379", "https://houseofrc.com/users?product_id=64")){kind=link}
