What a fun weekend in Las Vegas

What a fun weekend in Las Vegas for the Team Associated vintage championships. It took sometime preparing my RC10 Kinwald edition before this event and I was very satisfied with how everything turned out. The first time running my car was during free practice one. It was so much fun to drive but of course I had to do some fine tuning on the setup. Qualifying was super close with 4 minute runs. I would line up P2 going into the double A mains behind Spencer. A1 was intense with battling it out with Spencer and Ryan during the whole race. A2 was exciting for a few laps battling it out with Ryan but that allowed Spencer to put a little gap on us. Overall I would loose out by less than 1 second on the tie breaker. lol you can’t take the competitiveness out of us even during a fun vintage event.

The most exciting part of going to this event was seeing and catching up with all the legends. I get to see some of them frequently but some of them not as much. It was really nice catching up with old friends and getting to hear so many cool stories. I even was privileged to speak on the 🎤 at the banquet to tell some of my stories over the years racing.

A big congratulations to everyone involved with putting this event on. It was truly a special experience and look forward to doing it again.
