Back home from this years’ Dirt Nitro Challenge
Report from
Dirt Nitro Challenge 2025
Back home from this years’ Dirt Nitro Challenge. Looking back on the event, it was rough but a good weekend all around. The weather wasn’t ideal in the beginning but Joey and his crew got us back on track each time. The layout was pretty fun to drive on, especially the triple sections.

JConcepts was on deck with tire support and social media coverage! With the changes in weather, I tried a few different compounds and tread patterns. My favorite for the event was the trusty Reflex’s in green compound!

The EBuggy main event went pretty good considering I started my day in the B-Main finishing up 6th. In Nitro Truck, my start was rough but I made a comeback to 7th at the end. There is nothing special to talk about in the E-Truck main as I finished 16th. In the Nitro Buggy main, I fell off the top3 pace about half way through and had a DNF late in the race. All 4 main events were on JConcepts Reflex in green compound!

The main events in all 4 were pretty tough for me this year. My REDS 721 ProX engines with VP Racing fuel were screaming in the nitro mains and the HobbyWing/ProTek power ran great in the electric mains, all controlled by my Futaba 10PX USLE radio and Savox 2290 Black edition servos!

Not the results I want but it’s time to learn from this and be better at the next event. First off, thank you to my Dad for his help preparing the race trailer to take out here and being my #1 supporter. Huge thanks to Brent and Richard for their help in the pits and to my teammates for the good times! Congratulations to Ryan and Seth on their wins!
