Report from Dirt Nitro Challenge 2025

Nice to sleep in my own bed after a long couple of weeks on the road. As a whole I had a solid weekend out at DNC finishing up with a 2nd in both electric classes, 3rd in Nitro Buggy, and 4th in Nitro Truggy. I learned a lot setup wise and feel like as a team we are making good progress. My comfort level improved and I’m happy I was able to put solid runs in qualifying and the mains. The changing track conditions were tough and you had to be on your toes with the setup changes you made. The rain hardened the base up a lot and made the holes more square edged than in years past. I really wanted that NB win but think I went a little light on the oil and just wasn’t able to keep the pace up past the first half of the race.

I’m impressed with how good the Xray cars have been right out of the gate and I’m excited to spend this next month or so testing and tuning to see what we can come up with.
