๐ My report from the 1/8th IFMAR Worlds! ๐
So as you may know, I was not actually competing this time but working in the media of the event for The No Name RC Podcast! This was a new experience for me but really rewarding in the end!

At the early parts of the week we were going to be the only media outlet doing video content and our plan was to get people excited about the race early on. It went great and for qualies we were able to transition to a different type of content as Keenan moved up to the commentating booth.
I did probably up to 4 hours of interviews during the week which I got better at after every day. Some drivers were much easier and others were harder but I tried my best to get all the interesting info out from them. I have to thank all the drivers for being so cooperative, it was a pleasure to do the interviews with all of these guys.
I have to say that even though I have a camera, I have literally never considered myself a photographer. My pictures arenโt as pretty as Chris Circus but I wanted to find things that I found out there and thought people needed to see. I hope I achieved some of that and who knows, I kind of enjoyed taking pictures here so I might keep trying to learn more about it.
Big thanks to all the folks in the press booth it was an amazing time with all of you guys! Thanks to RC Racing TV for working with us and having me and Keenan on your broadcast!
Thanks to Salty for all the good times, laughs and dinner we had during this trip! Lastly thanks to Keenan Keith White for inviting me on this trip and wanting me to come over!

We recorded our recap show earlier this week with Keenan so hope you guys enjoy it. The positive feedback we have gotten from the coverage at this event has been incredible and it has motivated me a lot to keep doing what we are doing with the podcast and all of our content.
I am still racing and I want to still race but I consider racing and creating my own bodyshells and parts more of a hobby. I like challenging myself and doing media is one part of that. Working with Mayako and the Finnish federation is another. I absolutely love RC and improving it through ways that intrest me does give me some joy.
I might come to some other events in the future to do media but I will most likely only be racing in the Nordic countries. I donโt see flying around for racing myself worth what it pollutes. Either way I am really motivated to keep going in RC in any role and the positive feedback we got at the worlds really fueled that.
