Headed home from AMS 14.0

Headed home from AMS 14.0. It was an awesome time hanging out with everyone and I got a lot of good racing in with a ton of track time.

I was able to qualify directly into all of the A superpoles that were ran on Saturday. I would go on to start 5th in the nitro buggy superpole. After following the lead group for about 4 minutes, we decided to go for the undercut in the pits while the top 3 battled and it paid off. I was able to get the overall tq for pro nitro buggy. I would also go on to start 8th in the truggy main, and 2nd in the triple ebuggy mains.

Tire choice was all over the place this weekend with the top guys running blue, silver, and green and multiple different tread patterns. We decided to go with blue detox for the nitro buggy main. Started on the pole and lead until about the first pit stop. I was on a 7:30 pit strategy while Ryan and Dakotah were pitting every 9:00 mins. Stayed between 3rd and 4th for the rest of the main and the last 20 minutes was a super good battle with Juan Carlos Canas and was able to just edge him out by one tenth after the 45 min main. Congrats to Ryan on the win. I would end up having a good weekend in ebuggy by snagging another 3rd and in nitro truggy with a 4th place finish.

Huge shoutout to my boy, the HB car whisperer himself Walker Spinrad for the pit help and car prep for the mains. Also thanks to Chad Phillips, Paul Wynn, Marco Rossi, Coty Ingram and my dad for all the help throughout the week.
