This years’ 1:10 IFMAR Worlds has come to an end
Report from
IFMAR WC 1/10 ELECTRIC OFF ROAD 2023
This years’ 1:10 IFMAR Worlds has come to an end. First things first, I want to give my best to Larry and all of the crew at Hobby Action that helped make this event possible. You guys knocked it out of the park and not to mention, Bob from StickitOne did an amazing job with all of the stickers, banners, and event merchandise. They set the bar high!

It’s been 4 years since the last 1:10 Worlds so it was great seeing all of our international #AEcrew! The whole team worked well together all week. We made some good setup changes throughout the week on both buggies. My pace in both classes started out slow but I started gaining speed and comfortability as we neared qualifying and the mains. Qualifying was a battle but giving up was never an option; I ended my efforts with a P5 starting spot in 4wd and P2 in 2wd. #B74.2D #B6.4D

The 4wd main events went good. I made early moves in A1 and finished up 3rd. There was a bit of chaos in the beginning of A2 and I made a pass on Michal for the win. In A3, I got up to 2nd early behind Davide and I made some attempts to pass but nothing stuck finishing up 2nd. In the end, my overall result was 2nd.

There were highs and lows in the 2wd main events. A1 was a cluster with Tater making a mistake and I had nowhere to go leaving me last after the marshal but i clawed back to 6th in that. In A2, I hung with Tater but I made a small mistake that left me finishing 2nd. In A3 after Tater had locked up the #W, I led tone to tone taking the win resulting in 2nd overall for 2wd.

Not the results I came for but I hold myself high knowing I gave it my all every run. This only fuels the fire and we’ll set our sights on the next one! Huge thanks to everyone in my corner, my sponsors, and my Dad for all of the support throughout the week. The team worked great together and it was great to see Team Associated had the most cars in both A-main events. Congratulations to Davide and Tater on their wins! Next up, the JConcepts INS at Hoosier RC HobbyPlex in New Albany, Indiana 🏁
