Report from IFMAR WC 1/10 ELECTRIC OFF ROAD 2023

Gave it all I had and left everything out on the track. The main events for 2wd went much better than qualifying. I was able to have solid runs in A1&A2 to battle in the top half of the field scoring 2-4 finishes. In the end I would use these points to walk away with P4 overall. Sitting P2 overall going into A3 I knew I needed another good run to stay on the box. Unfortunately I crashed on my own early in the race and wasn’t able to take advantage of any opportunities that would’ve been there that run. It was all on me, and I’m absolutely gutted to not take advantage of the situations I was given for an overall podium position.

Coming from P6 on the grid doesn’t make it easy, so next time I will focus on qualifying better. We had good pace all week but just couldn’t put in the stellar runs needed to qualify into the top 3.

Overall, my 2wd result is a personal best for me of the 3 world championships I’ve competed in now so I am happy with my progress. Congratulations to Davide and Micheal on their deserved victories, it is my dream to join you two one day. But for now, we work.💪🏼

HUGE thank you to everyone behind the scenes that came together for this week to happen for us here at AE. We had a solid result overall as a team and none of it was possible without the work put in from all of us. Also, thanks to my Mom and Dad for never giving up on me over the years. Without you guys I am completely nothing and nowhere in life. I can’t thank you guys enough for all you’ve done for me throughout my life. I am forever grateful to have such an amazing group of people in my corner.
