Well we are home from the European championships

Well we are home from the European championships at the rca starec track in czech Republic and what a week it was! Huge thanks to all the organisers for putting on such a great week the track was amazing the facilities were unreal!! And such a lovely groupd of people...brilliant event!
With the highs n lows of the weather it made for an Intresting week but spirits were high and we got as much racing done as we could. Most of the week I spent most of my positions were in the mid 20s overall but there were alot of fast drivers out there so it was about having fun and getting the best result we could.... well that all soon turned round very quickly ....by Thursday evening we had ran 2 qualifiers with best 1 to count and I found myself 9th overall ....what the actual!!!! 😱😱😀😀 so straight into the semis it was starting 5th on the grid. All I had to do now was hold onto my position and I'd get a bump up into the A final .... after a great race luckily no marshaling and keeping it smooth I cam home in 5th ....A final time !!! I'm still in shock 3 days later. The A final came round my aim.was to enjoy every second of it and to finish ....after the first lap and a few crashes from.other people I suddenly found myself half way up the grid .... and after some long hard battles I held onto 5th along as I could but 6th place eventually got past and I just wanted to hold onto 6th....well I did just that ... brought it home after a 30 min A final in 6th overall!!!!! Absolutely gobsmacked....and greated by a large number of the uk team at the bottom of the rostrum cheering me on ....what a feeling!!! 💗🇬🇧

Dad for mechanicing all week and mum for keeping us all in check and well fed and some top support 🥰 my son for making me such a proud mum and my team mum dad Paul Keatley jack keatley and guest team member for the week Leon Evolution Rc u were all bloody brilliant!! Stu Wood for ur help and advice when needed and everyone who watched us online and supported us!
