At first i want to thank Ludvík Krejcar and the whole team of RCA Stařeč for this amazing organisation! Well done!

Still don’t know what to say… it’s a very emotional part of my life..

Let’s start from the beginning of the week.
On Monday we start with the first practice rounds and we know there already that we have a lot of work in front of us.
We tried different things on the car and it went to the right direction. 
On Tuesday we had a heavy rain shower over the day and the track was completely wet. But we went still going out to the track to gain some Informations to see how the car is working in this conditions because the rainforecast was very bad so we check the car there. 
On Wednesday the Timed Practice runs we’re going quite good and we find a good set up but somehow, we still missing the pace on the track to the others. 
On Thursday again the rain come back and during the Team Manager meetings they decide we will run only 2 Qualifications and on Friday all the finals. So the qualification went quite good with a solid P6 and this means 3. place in the semi final B. 
My semi final went very good only in the first lap I made a mistake and was on the last place but after couple of minutes I got the 3. place back and driving this to the end.

This means Main Final!

I was starting on P6.
The Final Start and somehow the car was working even better and I was driving so fast then never before of the week. 
After 15mins I was able to manage P3. At this moment I was already happy. But then the 1. and 2. place made a Mistake and i was at the first position and leading the final. I see in the back that Ken Walckiers was closing the gap very fast. So i was only to try to keep the 1. place. Ken and me had again a very great and close fight but then Ken made a mistake and unfortunately a part broke from Ken’s car and he was out of the race. So it was „only“ 5mins left in the final and I’m still leading! But I see that Romain Valter start to push a lot and try to close the gap to me. The time keeper tell, the last minute is on! And i say to myself „Sven it’s time to shine“ and like I said, pushing the car but keep it safe and bring it to the line and the referee make the call „The new European Champion is Sven Rodewald“ at this moment I didn’t realise it and I was still driving another lap and then my team mates tell me „Sven you did it“ „you are done“ „your are the European champion“ and after this, the emotions are coming very fast and my dreams come true to tell to my dad „ WE ARE THE EUROPEAN CHAMPION“ After so many years of driving at the euros and be sometimes so close to the title and finally we made it!🏆🥇

I’m more than happy and this archivement got a very very special place in my heart!

Special thanks goes to Alex Dss. Maybe some guys will remember, that he won 2013 the first time the Euros with the MCD RR5! 
He always help me with my driving style, to keep my head cool, to not be push to much pressure in my own. Danke!

Also Special thanks for Dario Veseli and Mario Veseli. Since the last years our friendship getting bigger and bigger. We always improve ourselves together to be on the top! And this year we did it! Dario takes the EC in Touringcar and myself take it in Off-road! Hvala ti za sve brat and Tarzan 😘

I want to thank you so much for everything what you’re doing over the years for me. We have so many ups and downs and finally we made it! family Rodewald are the new European Champion! Together with the whole Team MCD and powered by the JPF MOCA Engines, with the Electrics from Power HD and all the support from outside!🏆
