Late DNC post!

Let’s first off give a shout-out to Joey Wolters Christensen and the Dirt Crew for doing all they could to give us a full week and racing. They worked really hard before the rain and during the rain. Props to them!

Day 1 Seeding/Practice:

It was seeding day at the dirt and everything went honestly very well. Nitro Buggy went very well and had no changes for Rd1 and Rd2 of seeding ending off in 13th overall. Would of been seeded in the A but we ended up with B sort when going to the small track.

Nitro truck was a bit of a struggle as the 1st round was great and truck felt awesome but transpoder wasn’t working and caused me to log no laps. I think I was on pace for another A seed but no telling.

Electric buggy was phenomenal as I was 2nd seed behind the phenom in Rd1 but the track being so so loose in the beginning, I knew it wouldn’t hold. I appreciate the people that congratulated me and were shocked after 1st round. Trust me, I was shocked myself. After seeding we ended 18th.

Day 2&3 Qualifying:

It was a switch to the small track as the rain made its appearance on time. It was Truggy, E buggy and Nitro Buggy day and it was a struggle.

• Truggy there’s not much to say other than being taken out on both runs that would of ended in the top 10 each time. I have to say I lost my composure on the stand to the guy that took me out again and yelled at him. I will sincerely apologize publicly to that person as yelling is never a go to at the level I’m at. I don’t like yelling or coming up to people faces but the frustration that it was the same person really go the best of me.

• E Buggy was a decent day but definitely disappointed in myself tha I was on a run in the 1st qual that would of ended in the top 10. The track was so hard are your time that a bobble can take u out of just top 15 alone. Let alone a crash or 2, you can lose a lap.

• Nitro Buggy day was more a disappointment then struggle. 1st round was going so so good. I was on a mission to finish up top and have a good overall. I caught up to a driver and I got very close and came together but I got the short end of the stick and had a spin around followed by 1 bobble and had to let a driver by. I followed tessman around the track after my small mishaps and sure enough the buggy did exactly that and without the mistakes it would of ended on a high. 2nd qual was a complete let down as I kept up with the track and what was happening but driving it was a different story. Track was so hard and ROUGHHHHH. You had to pick and choose lines carefully.

AFTER ALL QUALS WERE COMPLETED we ended in the C for both buggies and d for truck.

Day 4&5 Main Days:

First up was Truggy mains and was feeling better with glued up foams from my guy Nick Hernandez. Truck was working pretty good but then something happened and caused me to flameout after flipping over and after the main was done, I inspected the truck and had a bent front driveshaft. It all made since why the truck changed a quarter way through. Still need some work on the truck to get it way more comfortable for me. That will be my focus going into silver state.

E-Buggy was up next and starting in the back. I knew I had my work cut out for me and had to push through the front as we had skme heavy hitters in there. Half way through I worked my way to 3rd and was catching second each lap. I was loosing power and eventually shut off. Not sure what went on so we will be doing some testing when the dirt opens up.

Nitro Buggy was next up on the next main day and I was super confident with my nitro. Everything started great pacing the field until mistakes were made. Unfortunately I had my own mistake getting stuck on a pipe and a few bobbles. I got back into a groove and was ready to catch back up the 3 way battle for the last spot to the B main. Next thing I know, I had a server glitch and eventually stop working. That was the end of my DNC.

Not the best DNC but know we have the pace in the cars. All in all, I had a good time and did the best I could to adapt to a much smaller track. I made the right changes all week long and know what I need to do and work on. Time to get some practice on the big track and prep for upcoming JBRL in April for the opening round of the JBRL "Jimmy Babcock Racing League"!

Big shoutout to Brent Densford from Beach RC & Hobbies for bringing some items down. Happy to say that I added them to my program as well.

Thanks for all the support that my sponsors give me
