Pro Nitro Truggy was super fun, as I grabbed the TQ and fought hard in the main to finish 2nd. A little bummed I couldn’t stay in the fight, the beginning was INSANE though. Leading and having Maifield and Phend right on me was super fun. I was proud of my start, and I didn’t drive nervous.

Pro Nitro Buggy was a disappointment if I’m honest. My MX8 was great, I had good speed in qualifying and was up towards the front every time. I just made some mistakes and then just missed the setup a little. I qualified 9th and the main was rough. Crashing early, dropping back, fighting back some, then breaking a wheel.

Pro Electric Buggy was pretty decent. I had some good qualifiers, fighting for TQ in all 3 rounds, but ending 5th/5th/3rd for 4th on the grid. I was able to learn from Nitro each time and adjust my MX8E a little better for the changing conditions. In both mains, I had pretty good races, finishing in 5th both mains, for 6th overall. I was in 4th on the last lap of A1 and had an unfortunate tangle exiting the moguls, which was a bummer. A2 I had a good race with Lutz, but I crashed twice which took me out of the fight to finish 4th overall.

All in all, I take it as a successful race weekend. Obviously I would want my debut to go better, but I need track time and race time with the new cars, tires, and engines. I learned a lot, we actually stayed after racing finished and tested my nitro buggy, finding some key things I had wrong on my setup.
