Going into this IFMAR World Championships, I felt more prepared than ever

Going into this IFMAR World Championships, I felt more prepared than ever. I know that it's a cliché but, the words "blood, sweat and tears" are what comes to mind. Unfortunately, my effort wasn't fully reflected in my personal result, but I'm proud of my performance! 4th overall is still my best finish at a TC worlds to date. And of course, the team's amazing double win somehow makes up for it!

The race was a bit of a roller coaster ride. Struggled to put 3 laps together in seeding, which put me in the 2nd fastest qualifying group. Went on to have a strong qualifying, which awarded me 3rd place on the grid. After the heavy rain on Saturday, the track grip wasn't quite the same on Sunday, and I didn't adapt the setup or my driving well enough, as I struggled for overall grip (especially at the start of the run) during the finals.

I want to thank all my sponsors, family and friends, and everyone else that believes in me and my racing program! Special thanks to my dad (Bosse Hagberg) and to Martin Hudy! I'm looking forward to the carpet season which starts next week already!

Last but not least, a message to the people that accused me and my team of cheating. Don't disrespect our hard work. Start by looking at yourself, and how to improve. An athlete's true character is shown in defeat, not success!
