IFMAR 1:8 IC Buggy World Championship 2022
Had a great time this past week in Spain for the 2022 1/8 IFMAR World Championships at RC-Redován! The facility was top notch and the track crew did a great job. This was my first world Championship and it was an experience that I will never forget! The track and surface was definitely a lot different than what we are used to running on so that was a big learning curve. We were definitely a little off pace in practice but the more I ran on the track the more comfortable I got.

Qualifying went okay, but for sure could’ve been much better without some silly mistakes. I ended up 6th in the 1/16 even final. In the 1/16 final it was a great race till the end and I was able to get one of the bump spots into the 1/8 even final. In the 1/8 I was able to move up around mid pack where I would finish. Overall I ended up 47th. Not quite what I was hoping for but I’m okay with as it was my first world championship.
