Back home and recovered from the Ifmar Worlds!
As for racing, well that was for an experience in itself. The surface and track was nothing that we are use to on the American side of racing, from the oily polished dirt and huge track it made for a lot of learning curves. During practice it was a battle learning the track and car set up each and every run. During seeding I had to miss the first round due to coming down with a nasty sickness. I made it for round two and seeded 25th overall which I was happy about. From that point on it all didn’t go as planned LOL. Qualifying was a mess I didn’t drive well and I take full blame for that. I ended up in the 1/32nd main. I ran that 20 min race and won by a good margin. Got to the 1/16th and got into a bump spot and sadly had an electrical issue. I would end the weekend in the 1/16 main. My SWORKz, Proline, Protek ride was amazing all weekend and I can’t ask for a better setup.
All in all it was a great learning experience for myself and everyone involved. Got to meet a lot of great people and see a lot of old friends! Thank you to all my sponsors for allowing me to do what I love each and everyday!
