This race always feels longer than it normally is, especially with how much prep goes into the race before hand. I want to thank Joey Wolters Christensen , Aaron A. Webb and the Dirt Crew for killing this DNC as always. Kenny Brosh  Jimmy Babcock and Sexy Leg, made quick time of the 1000 entries, and it was flawless. Thank you guys for the hard work!

I was super pumped to have snagged a P3 in ebuggy this year, being that I bumped in last year and finished P6, I felt like I could build off that. The HB E819RS was on rails and glued to the surface with HotRace Tyres, and Orion Racing Batteries powering me to the end.

The truggy definitely didn't reflect how good it was. I worked a while getting it dialed in from last DNC, as well as Tyler Brown and all of our HB trucks did great this time around. A little bit of unfortunate events in the B main, as my eyes literally poured water the entirety of the 30 minutes. Had some close racing despite not being able to see, but I couldn't push like I would have liked to, but another lesson learned there, BUY GOGGLES.

Nitro Buggy was on rails as well. A bit of poor tire choice on my part more than once, had me stuck in the B main. The last lap of Q3 I needed a good run, and was sitting P5 for the round and then, I shit the bed once again ending my shot at a direct qualifier. The B main was going to be tough, but once settled in, I finished P2.

Upon prep for the A main, I wanted to try a different tire. Had two sets ready just in case, but being stuck on the far left of the stand I had to re-learn the whole track as there were now a lot of crazy blind spots. During the fight in the opeing laps of the main, it was ruthless out there. People were getting blasted in every direction. I got lucky a few times, but then other times I didn't at all. Trying to race blind is tough, especially from the left side of the stand so these wrecks cost me a bunch at times where I couldn't even see my car. Happy to finish the race in one piece, but totally not satisfied at all and I'm still hungry.

I'm super pumped on my team, we all work well together and people are open to listening. We did have the majority of the cars in alot of mains, but most definitely in the Pro Nitro Buggy main. We've also figured out a lot of competing brands run our parts too, if ya know ya know 😉

I can't thank my good friend Casey Wilson enough for all the help in the pits and off track this weekend. I worked him pretty hard this past week, and he never questioned one thing. Lastly, I want to give a big shout out to my boy Uncle Garrett Nurge. Huge thanks for you lending out your extra truck to Jackson and I, as well as giving us a place to crash and operate like we were at home. Even cooked a badass low country boil with Alaskan King Crab legs for fight night. Big thank you again UG, and we'll do it all again real soon!
