Together with Infinity and Radio Control Modellers' Club Singapore, we like to invite all Radio Control car fans from all around the world to join us here in Singapore !

It's been awhile since we host a event that can bring drivers together for some serious fun !

We will have 4 classes for this race:
- Inf1nity Modified Class
- 13.5T Open Brushless Class (boosted)
- 17.5T Front Wheel Drive Class 
- 1/5 Superbike Challenge

Race Fees:

  1. Inf1nity Modified Class – S$ 80 (includes 1 set of controlled tires + Lunch for Saturday and Sunday)
  2. 13.5T Open Brushless Class – S$ 80 (includes 1 set of controlled tires+ Lunch for Saturday and Sunday)
  3. 17.5T FWD Class – S$ 65 (includes 1 set of controlled tires+ Lunch for Saturday and Sunday)
  4. 1/5 Super Bike Challenge – S$ 50 (includes Lunch for Saturday and Sunday)
  • RCMC Member – S$ 10 off total race fee
  • Drivers that join 2 or more classes will get S$ 5 off total amount / only 1 set of lunch will be handed out.

For Inf1nity Modified Class & 13.5T Open Brushless Class: 1x Control Practice + 3x Qualifying. 

For 17.5T FWD Class & 1/5 Super Bike Challenge: 1x Control Practice + 2x Qualifying.

10 September 2023 (Sunday): 1x Qualifying (all classes) + Main Finals*

Practice tires: Available at RazorRC from 01 Aug 2023 @ S$ 35 per set

Race day: tires available at trackside (07-10Sept23) @ S$ 35 per set

Race Format & Regulations:

All runs starting from control practice to finals will be 5-minutes run except for 1/5 superbike will be 10-minutes run.

Free Practice:

Thursday & Friday (07-08 September 2023), own time own target no marshals will be provided.

Race day:

Saturday & Sunday (09-10 September 2023)

Control Practice:

1x Control Practice* will be run with the best result taken for re-group into qualifying.

Only 1 chassis can be run during each CP session.

(Base on best consecutive 3 laps)  

Qualifying*:

4x Qualifying* will be run on both Saturday and Sunday. The best 2 of 4 qualifying results based on points will be taken for the overall qualifying result. In the case of only 3 qualifying completed, 2 of the results will be taken. In the case of only 2 qualifying completed, only the best qualifying results will be taken.

*(17.5T FWD Class and 1/5 Super Bike Challenge will only run 3x Qualifying with 2 to count)
*total no. of qualifying runs will be adjusted according to total no. of entries and will be confirm by 01.09.2023

Controlled Tires (marked)*:

To be use from Qualifying onwards. Any Drivers found not using controlled tires for any of the timed run will have the BEST RUN result deleted. *(1/5 Super Bike Challenge – drivers are to provide 2sets of tires for marking during registration)

Main Finals:

All higher mains will consist of 10 cars on the starting grid. Lower mains might have up to 12 cars on the grid depending on overall entries.

A-main finals will run 3 rounds; best 2 of 3 will be taken to determine the overall race results. If only 2 rounds of A-main finals are completed, the best result will be taken. In the event of a tie breaker, the best finish position will be taken follow by the lap and time.

B-main and C-main finals will run 2 rounds; best 1 of 2 will be taken to determine the overall race results, in the event of tie breaker, best finish position will be taken follow by the lap and time. All other mains will run 1 round (TBC based on total no. of entries).

Marshalling Duties:

All drivers are required to perform marshal duties according to the race schedule. In the case that drivers are unable to perform marshal duties, a representative is allowed. In case of drivers not performing marshal duties, penalties will be given. Marshalling points will be set up; drivers/assistants will have to proceed to the respective marshalling point base on their car no.

“Stop n Go” Penalty:

“Stop n Go” penalty will be awarded to drivers for un-sporting behavior with the decision from the race director and his assistant.

Technical Inspection:

All cars will have to go through technical inspection before every round. All cars must be placed at the impound area after each run and go for marshalling duty. Only official appointed inspectors can do the inspection. All inspections results will be final, and no appeal will be entertained.

Race Results:

All race results will be final after all cars complete inspection. Appeal to race results will have to be made immediately after the race result is published and before the next run starts. Appeals made after the next run starts will be entertain on a case-by-case basis on the decision by race director / organizer.

Personal Transponder: 

Organizers run an AMB Lap Counting System compatible with both AMB square type Transponders and Personal Transponders. 

Drivers are requested to prepare their own personal transponder as no club transponder will be available.

In the event of a transponder miss count or failure, the Race Director / Organizer will make the final decision.

Wet Weather:

As Singapore is a tropical country, hence rain fall is very common throughout the year and unpredictable. In case of wet weather after the race had started each day, the organizer will make the announcement of estimated time to resume racing. In case of rain and race is unable to resume race for the day, only the full completed round result will be taken. If the main finals are unable to start due to extreme weather, the qualifying result will be taken as the overall result.

Technical Regulations:

INF1NITY Modified Class

OPEN to all IFMAR ISTC 1/10 EP Touring Car. 

1. Body shell Appearance

1.1 - Cars must be 1/10th scale Touring Car 4 doors, which are available on the market. 

1.2 - No part of the chassis, including wheels/tires/motor/battery or electronic equipment may protrude outside the body shell when viewed from above. 

1.3 - The standard body wings and spoilers can be used. Optional wings are allowed if they meet the requirements. 

1.4 - On the body of the car no extra holes allowed, except the following: antenna pipe, body mount and transponder, which are not over 10mm in diameter. 

1.5 - Dimensions: Maximum width without body 190mm. Maximum width with body 200mm. Maximum wheelbase 273mm. Minimum Roof height 115mm Maximum Wing height 115mm. 

No Minimum ride height 

2. Chassis and Drive Train - Only four (4) wheel drive transmission type is allowed for this event. 

3. Weight - The weight of the car, ready to race including timing equipment (transponder) at any time of the race shall not be lower than: Minimum weight before running: 1,300g 

4. Wing - See IFMAR ISTC 1/10th Touring Car Regulation for Wing and side Dams dimensions. 

5. Batteries Approval:

5.1 - Battery Max. 6 cells 7.2v Sub-C NiCad, NiMH, Lipo 2 cells 7.4v Hard Case or LiHV 2cells 7.6V.

5.2 - Batteries must be readily available in the market and have a recognizable brand name. 

5.3 - Battery aids for servo can be installed but may not assist the drive system in any way. 

5.4 - LiPo drive batteries MUST be always charged in a closed ‘LiPo Safety Bag’.

6. Tires: Sweep (DX-36R3PGM) 

6.1 – Control Practice (1 run): Own Tires 

6.2 – Qualifying (4 runs): Total of only 3 sets of controlled tires is allowed. 
6.3 – For Finals: All mains are only allowed 1 set of additional tires. 
6.4 – Tires from qualifying can be used for finals

7. ESC & Motor: Any motor of any brand available on the market is ALLOWED.

8. Race Format: 1x Control Practice, 4x Qualifying, 3x finals for Amain, 2x finals for B and C main will be run for this class.

13.5T OPEN BRUSHLESS CLASS (Boosted)

OPEN to all IFMAR ISTC 1/10 EP Touring Car. 

1. Body shell Appearance: 

1.1 - Cars must be 1/10th scale Touring Car 4 doors, which are available on the market. 

1.2 - No part of the chassis, including wheels/tires/motor/battery or electronic equipment may protrude outside the body shell limits when viewed from above.

8.2 – Qualifying (4 runs): Total of only 2 sets of controlled tires is allowed.  
8.3 – For Finals: All mains are only allowed 1 set of additional tires. 
8.4 – Tires from qualifying can be used for finals

9. Race Format: 1x Control Practice, 4x Qualifying, 3x finals for Amain, 2x finals for B and C main will be run for this class.

17.5T FWD Class

Open to all Front 2WD chassis available in the market, homemade or 3D printed cars not allowed.

1. Body shell Appearance: 

1.1 - Any FWD Body shells which are available on the market is ALLOWED. 

1.2 - No part of the chassis, including wheels/tires/motor/battery or electronic equipment may protrude outside the body shell limits when viewed from above. 

1.3 - On the body of the car no extra holes allowed, except the following: antenna pipe, body mount and transponder, which are not over 10mm in diameter. 

2. Chassis and Drive Train – Only Front 2-wheel drive chassis is ALLOWED.

3. Weight - The weight of the car, ready to race including timing equipment (transponder) at any time of the race shall not be lower than: Minimum weight before running: 1,250g 

4. Wing – Only wing that comes together with the bodyshell can be used.  

5. Batteries Approval:

5.1 - Battery Max. 6 cells 7.2v Sub-C NiCad, NiMH, Lipo 2 cells 7.4v Hard Case or LiHV 2cells 7.6V.

5.2 - Batteries must be readily available in the market and have a recognizable brand name. 

5.3 - Battery aids for servo can be installed but may not assist the drive system in any way. 

5.4 - LiPo drive batteries MUST be always charged in a closed ‘LiPo Safety Bag’. 
5.5 - Battery voltage before running: 8.44v

6. Motors: Any 17.5T from any brand available on the market is ALLOWED. 

7. ESC: Any brand available on the market is ALLOWED with Boost and Turbo function turn off (blinky mode).

8. Tires: Sweep (DX-36R3PGM)

8.1 – Control Practice (1 run): Own Tires 

8.2 – Qualifying (3 runs): Total of only 2 sets of controlled tires is allowed. 
8.3 – For Finals: All mains are only allowed 1 set of additional tires. 
8.4 – Tires from qualifying can be used for finals

9. Race Format: 1x Control Practice, 3x Qualifying, 3x finals for Amain, 2x finals for B and C main will be run for this class.

1/5 Super Bike Challenge

1. Body shell Appearance: 

1.1 - Any Super Bike Body shells which are available on the market is ALLOWED. 

2. Batteries Approval:

2.1 - Battery Max. 6 cells 7.2v Sub-C NiCad, NiMH, Lipo 2 cells 7.4v Hard Case or LiHV 2cells 7.6V.

2.2 - Batteries must be readily available in the market and have a recognizable brand name. 

2.3 - LiPo drive batteries MUST be always charged in a closed ‘LiPo Safety Bag’. 
2.4 - Battery voltage before run: 8.44v

3. Motors: Open

4. ESC: Any brand available on the market is ALLOWED.

5. Tires: Open (but drivers are required to submit maximum of 2sets of tires to be tagged for qualifying, additional 2sets of tires is allowed to be tagged for Amain finals and additional 1set of tires allowed for B and C main finals).

6. Race Format: 1x Control Practice, 3x Qualifying, 3x finals for Amain, 2x finals for B and C main will be run for this class, all runs for 1/5 Super Bike Challenge are 10mins.
